We will be performing Bye Bye birdie this spring. I was wondering if the additional material from TAMS includes the song "A Giant Step" from the 1995 movie. I didn't see it listed, but I wanted to make sure.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, TAMS offers selected songs and other material from the 1995 movie for an additional fee.

I know that we did get the additional material for our production, but that song must not have been included, as I don't think I've ever heard it. I think it only included some extra/revised dialogue, the revised version of Spanish Rose, Let's Settle Down, and A Mother Doesn't Matter Anymore.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't think it was in there, but I wanted to check with someone who had done the revised show. It's too bad, because it's a fun, short song toward the end of the movie.

i'm directing it now, and no, it snot in there. But it would definitely not be a good idea to get the score for this song at the link below and add it to the show yourself. And I definitely don't know this from first hand experience, because you're not supposed to do that without Tams-Witmark's permission...
