A full-time living in theatre?

Hi...

I'm currently considering a career change and have thought about pursuing acting. Specifically, I want to do theatre, but I don't know if it's possible to make a full-time living doing just theatre (I'm currently not really interested in doing television, voice-overs or any other medium). Also, I'm in my early-mid thirties, and I don't know if I'm too late to go into theatre. Can anybody give any advice? Thanks.

to be honest it's probably not the best idea. It's nearly impossible to make a full time living doing theater (even on broadway). Do you have any experience with acting? Unless you have a pretty impressive resume it's going to be hard to get any into anything serious at that age

like said above, it's nearly impossible to make a living in theatre unless you're like....idina menzel or something.

if you want to do theatre, i suggest finding a community theatre around where you live and doing stuff there.
