A complete songlist?

Does anybody have a complete list of all chess songs ever made, both demos and recorded once? And does anybody know where I can get the lyrics and soundtracks from the demos?
Cadriel

From the Concept Album, we had:

Merano / What a Scene
The Russian and Molokov
Where I Want to Be

The Arbiter's Song (Reprise)
Quartet (A Model of Decorum and Tranquility)
Florence and the American
Nobody's Side
Chess
Mountain Duet
Florence Quits
A Taste of Pity (segment of "Pity the Child" at the end of "Florence Quits" that is omitted in some productions)
Embassy Lament
Anthem

Bangkok (instrumental)
One Night in Bangkok
Heaven Help My Heart
Argument
I Know Him So Well
The Deal / No Deal
Pity the Child
Endgame
You and I / The Story of Chess

Additional songs for the London production:
Commie Newspapers
Press Conference
US vs. USSR (extended version w/ extra verse)
Florence & Molokov
Reporters
The Golden Ballet (unrecorded)
One More Opponent
You and I
The Soviet Machine
The Interview
The Deal (extended version; missing part of "The Deal / No Deal")
Talking Chess
Endgame (extended version w/ extra verse)
You and I - Reprise (alternate version)
Finale A
Finale B (Anthem - Reprise)

Additional songs from the Broadway production:
Prelude

How Many Women?
Quartet (A Model of Decorum & Tranquility) (extended version with round)
Someone Else's Story
One Night in Bangkok (alternate version)
East/West (apocryphal song cut before opening; unrecorded, missing from score & may not exist in recorded form)

Arbiter's Song (extended version w/ extra verse -- unrecorded variation)
Hungarian Folk Song
No Contest
You and I (alternate version with Svetlana)
Freddie Goes Metal (unrecorded)
Let's Work Together (unrecorded)
Lullabye / Apukad
Endgame (alternate version)
You and I - Reprise (alternate version)

Alternate songs from the Sydney production -- all unrecorded:
Prelude (alternate)
Introductions
One Night in Bangkok (extended version w/ extra verse)
The American & Florence / Argument fusion (fusion of two songs)
Tournament Song (variations on "Hymn to Chess")
Terrace Duet (alternate version w/ interpolation)
Heaven Help My Heart (alternate version w/ extended ending)
Someone Else's Story (alternate version for Svetlana - extended)
The Soviet Machine (extended version w/ additional verses)
The Deal (major reworking of London "Deal")
Endgame (alternate version)

From the US Tour:
The Russian and Molokov (reworking)
You and I - Reprise (Freddie)
The Story of Chess - Reprise (Arbiter)

There are a variety of different reprises from the 1992 Off-Broadway production. The most significant are:
Where I Want to Be - Reprise (Florence)
Someone Else's Story - Reprise (Svetlana)

From the Stockholm production:
Lararens historia (only recorded on DVD)
Om Florences Far (only recorded on DVD)
Han är en man, han är ett barn
Glöm mig om du kan

Most of the Broadway material that is unrecorded exists in the production score and various unofficial recordings. Unofficial recordings exist of the complete London, Sydney and Off-Broadway productions. However, as far as I know there is no score in circulation for "The Golden Ballet" and the lyrics to "East/West" disappeared off the Net with Sylvia Stoddard's website. I'm sure others can fill in various apocryphal songs and variations that I've missed here.

Do you know where I can get some of the "unoficial" recordings of songs not recorded?

not entirely sure. The danish recording of course has the entire london score pretty much. You can get that from a torrent.

The you and I reprise with Freddie is intriguing, pray tell me the lyrics.

In the norwegian show he sings "Kva kan eg seia, kva kan eg gjera, du var min spegl, eg tråkte feil, eg gjekk i frå deg!"

which means something like: "What can I tell you? What kan I do? You where my mirror, I took a bad stap, I left you!"

It is probably about Freddie going back to Florence, in the norwegian version, which is basically the London version without Der Kleiner Franz and Merchandisers, and with two additonal songs, Argument and Someone Else's Story. In the end, everyone wins, Florence get Freddie, Freddie get Florence, Molokov get Anatoly, Anatoly get Svetlana, Svetlana get Anatoly, and Walter get his story..

Not sure of any readily available sources. Sylvia Stoddard used to sell them on her website, but she withdrew from the Chess community around the start of 2002. There are high-quality audience recordings of Broadway, Sydney and Chicago (Broadway variant) which include otherwise unrecorded material floating about, and several with various London casts.

that sounds cool, but he said the US tour had a Freddie reprise of You and I

Like a number of changes in the US Tour, it probably sounds more interesting in theory than it actually is:
Quote:
FREDDIE
Who needs a dream?
Who needs ambition?
Who'd be the fool
In my position?

Once I had dreams
Now they're obsessions
Hopes become needs
Lovers possessions
But then

(Florence enters)

FREDDIE and FLORENCE
You and I
We've seen it all
Been down this road before
But we go on pretending

FLORENCE
Stories like ours
Have happy endings.

It's a reprise of the Svetlana segment of "You and I" with the Svetlana lyrics (which were over the "Where I Want to Be" theme) replaced with Anatoly's "Where I Want to Be" lyrics...very weird and circular.

you're right. It seems like it was executed in a lame kinda way.
