Have you seen him? Is he good? Ever sence I heard he was going to play the director on America's Best Dance Crew, I've been wanting to know.

*Sigh* this is depressing. I'm so happy I got the chance to see it last year.
audreydarling

anyone have any ideas why?

I guess broadway has changed since the 80s/90s....but still CLASSIC!!!!

hope it wasn't too risque...but then again Spring Awakening isn't closing Sad

grr...the original production ran 10 years...the revival ran 2. how sad!
Quique

The original production ran 15 years, actually. Opened 1975, closed 1990.

The revival had a good run, imo.
audreydarling

definitely a good run but far less than the original...

idk...is this typical of revivals? it just seems short..I would have liked to see it on broadway for at least another two years.

but it's probably making room for something bigger and better...(as long as it's not spiderman)

I think it's because tickets weren't selling...
I went back in March and the left and right sides of the Balcony were empty.
Except the front row of the Balcony was full (were I sat)
And it made me sad and I wanted to see it again and again so it could make money =((
But all good things must come to an end...

He sucked. No offense.

I was at the closing performance on Sunday. It was amazing and I wish it would have stuck around longer.

I feel shows like A Chorus Line are typical Broadway and should never close
