Hi. Is there a place in this show for a 55-year-old man, excellent dancer/actor, poor singer?

EDIT: Maybe for Herod...Rik Mayall couldn't sing at all and he landed the role of Herod.

I never recommend this video, but if you want a Herod example that fits your discription, check out the 2000 JCS Video with...urrg....Glenn Carter as Jesus.

For the record, this show was terrible, but you could defently pull off Herod.

I suggested Herod because he said he couldn't sing very well. Most of the Herods I've heard are there for comic relief, and very few of them are good singers.

I didn't see the "poor singer" line the first time. I was mainly going by the title of the thread.

Sorry sir, 'Superstar is a rock-OPERA. Even the dancers have to do more than "carry a tune"....you might be able to pull off King Herod on a semi-pro stage, as long as you did it with attitude .
