You can count on Terra being in it for at least what's listed in the article. I'll ask her the exact dates though.

She's currently in Spiderwoman in LA.
theatre4life

not just boo for me - if anybody actually enjoys Tom Wopat, they need a friggin' hearing aid and you know it. YAY!!!!!! for Terra C.!!!!!! and, it'd be intresting to see Roz Ryan live - only saw her on youtube (a clip that was removed), even tho Carol Woods is my fave by far. i've also heard that Bianca Marroquin is very good as Roxie. when i showed my friend the video with Paige Davis, he loved it better than the film - cant wait to tell him it's gonna start touring again! too bad detroit isnt listed - yet... go fisher theatre, i hope!

Oh I love Roz as Mama. She is easily one of my favorites!!!!!!

oh, i have no doubts that Ill enjoy her - if youtube is anything to go by. hell, in person always sounds better anyways.

i just hope that once the show gets to detroit, it'll be like the last tour, and tom wopat will be replaced by someone else. last time, it was greg evigan - my fave billy flynn!

yeah, i did grow weary of constantly seeing or hearing of brenda braxton returning to the show, but what're ya gonna do? cant wait to see roz live, tho. and, i've heard many good things of bianca marroquin, so my hopes are high for her - let's hope they're not dashed.

so, how long til we see your sexy self in fishnets, showin off your Fosse moves?? Wink

1)When i turn 18 and be finished with school and hopefully look somewhat more rugged :/ >: (
2)When i actually stop being lazy and work out (prerequisite: STRONG SEXY DANCERS)
3) When i have a little more experience and hopefully will be enough do this type of a show.

(given theres going to be another national tour next year perhaps i'll audition for it : ) )

but yeah--i would love to audition for the show and i LOVE fosse. but apparently doing the audition they might spring up a ballet combo on you..and i need a lot of experience still on the whole. so we'll see! and hope for the best (keep yo fingers crossed!)

you deff won't be upset with bianca marroquin or roz ryan. i think roz will be one of your top favorites, theatre4life. carol and roz did a duet of 'good to mama' in the 10th anniversary show and it was SPECTACULAR.

good things come your way!

okay, i know it's been sometime, but get over it. lol. now, i found her relatively boring. she's okay, but i'd rather go for Paige Davis again or even Lindsay Roginski from the non-eq tour. i even liked Robin Givens better... well, at least for her voice, that is. i watched also the clip for "Me And My Baby" (who was that 80 y.o. looking Amos? lol)

she's good, but didnt really do it for me much. ah well, to each his own.

Ive seen Tom Wopat in 3 shows..he is an extremely gifted actor!! He isnt just Luke Duke you know!
He was so real and layered in Glenngarry Glen Ross..you flet really bad for his character.
ConverseSneaker

I'm going to give you a name to watch out for: Melanie Waldron.

She's playing Velma in the national cast right now...and is absolutely amazing. She's got the vocals, the dancing, and she can even pull off the look with strawberry blonde hair instead of the movie style dark short bob.

well, then maybe Billy Flynn is just not for him. his singing absolutely sucked in Chicago.
Salome

well he sang wonderfully in Annie Get Your Gun and Guys and DOlls.

besides its theatre its not all about singing. you know a little thing call...acting!
don_vutch

some people have roles that fit them well others dont. some are better dancers then actors, better actors then singers and so on.

was he a Billy Flynn? Im not familiar with that name.
Salome

Next to John Cullum , Jeff mcCarthy has the best voice in Urinetown!

Well the Melanie Waldron I saw in LaCrosse was a HUGE letdown...decent vocals but her dancing was so lazy I half expected her to use a La-Z-Boy for her Cell Block Tango chair. Granted, maybe I caught her on an off night but she wasn't great. Same for pretty much the entire cast...I just think it's a case of them being WAY too young to pull off these roles.

I hear both Melanie and the gal playing Roxie will be playing Cell Block girls in the new tour and u/s the lead roles they have been playing on tour. Melanie should steal some stuff from Terra...she's got the part down pat.
