1776

For those of you that know me..

Am I too young to go for Martha Jefferson in a community/regional production?

I didn't feel like doing a huge elaborate post in auditions.. So this is here.. sorry..

You could probably pull it off...however since there are only two women in that show you're audition will need to be fantastic to get in. I wish my theatre would do a great book show like 1776. It is one of the few musicals that the acting must be absolutly fantastic.

you od look rather young for it. but is it as big theatre? as in a larg proceinium satage and lots of sets? or an intimate setting? if its a large theatre and you can handle the role..then you can hide the age better.

Crap. Nevermind.
Auditions are in like.. 3 days.. and you need a monologue AND song.
I can't get all that ready while in like intensive rehearsal mode for another show.

UGH.
So much for that.
So.. pointless thread. sorry.

Are you sure you can't do it? It is a great show and 1776 is not done very often...
Bianca.

yeah.. it's a longshot.. It will go to someone older than I am.. and I'm SO busy this week.. I wish it were farther away...

Well it couldn't hurt to audition. Every time you audition it can only help you. Going to a whole bunch of auditions is one of the best ways to get better.
