16 BAR BELTER SUGGESTIONS?I'm auditiong for a children's theatre company, and I need a good up tempo and ballad 16 bars for my audition. I'm a belter and looking for songs that can showcase power notes, but are also appropriate for childrens shows.

There is literally a book out there of 16 bar audition cuts for belters. I think it's part of the singer's anthology series.
That would be a good place to start...

Thanks. I actually have the book, but a lot of the music is unfamiliar to me so I was wondering if anyone knew of a really great one I could learn.

Why don't you do a bit of research then and take a look at some of the shows that these songs come from?
Many times, when I am researching, I will find songs from the show that may not be in a particular book that I have that I like better...
Research...google shows to get synopsis/cast lists/etc.
It really doesn't take that long anymore...
Another good resource is to look it up on Amazon.com and give the cast album a listen!
