[Someday]

I'm going to 2 community theatre auditions. One is a combined audition for JCS and LSOH (I'd want to be chorus and then the highest girl in the trio). I'm also auditioning for Lynette in Assassins. I could learn two songs, but I'd love to perfect this one instead.

Here's my reasoning:
For JCS/LSOH: contemporary (both), rock/pop instead of regular musical theatre (both), dark comedy (LSOH)
For Assassins: dark comedy, the lyrics are a good match to the duet Lynette sings - especially this part "clearly someone has to bleed, I'll repay all you gave, let me give you what you crave. Let me prove, I love you, let me become part of you, I see no better way to start, now I can live inside your heart"

I don't know, the whole blood and romance thing seems to fit.

ok choice? desperately bad idea? I really don't know if I want to bring Sondheim to the Assassins audition because this is a community theatre, I don't know how much faith I should put in the pianist.
