I was just wondering if anyone had any idea of how much the rights are for JCS.

I will hopefully be putting on a production in the UK next year

You can find out from the Rodgers and Hammerstein Theatre Library (www.rnh.com). Submit an application and they can give you a quote. It's impossible for anyone else to give you a ballpark figure - there are too many variables. But I can tell you that anything from R&H tends to be more expensive as far as licensing than the other usual agents.

The rights are frozen. That's what R&H tell me.

Until Ted Neeleys tour is over, no-oje will be able to do JCS. However, I was in a production during the NA tour. Danny Zolli starred in and directed a production of it las year.

Go figure.
