Hey everyone! My school is doing this for our spring musical, and I'm planning on trying out for Belle. However, when I looked at the lyrics for "Home" in the booklet that came with the CD, I saw that the lyrics differed from what was on the CD.

So, for those of you who have done this production, which lyrics are in the MTI book?

a) "What I'd give to return to the life that I knew lately
But I know that I can't solve my problems going back..."

b) "What I'd give to return to the life that I knew lately
And to think I complained of a dull provincial town..."

I'd like to know so I can practice with the correct lyrics. (I have a feeling the director will choose this for one of the audition songs.)

The second one is in the songbook that I bought for my audition("dull provincial town"). I have the B'way cast recording, and those two lines threw me for a bit, too. That's why I bought the songbook.

The corect answer is B and yes, Home will probably be a likely choice for your director.
