We did it in sign language for our production... I'll try to explain it best as I can.

Day by Day

Left arm is parallel to the floor, right arm is perpendicular to it... they form a sort of _| shape. The right arm has the index figer pointed, and slowly moves down (keeping the elbow in place) so it rests on the left arm. _| to _, sort of... each "day by day" gets one of these motions

Oh, Dear Lord

Oh: make an L and a backwards L with your left and right hands, respectively. Put them together so that the index touches the index and the thumb touches the thumb, and they form a diamond. Take this shape down so your thumbs are about level with your bell button, and bring it up so that your index fingers are on top, and about level with your collarbone

Dear: Point both of your index fingers towards the ceiling, cross your wrists, and bring your hands around to from a complete circle.

Lord: Make an L shape with your right hand, and bring it down from your left shoulder to your right hip

Three Things I Pray

Three things: Putting each hand in the sign-language three (thumb, index, and middle fingers out) Bring each hand up from hip level and make small, forward circles at chest level

I Pray: Basic prayer sign; hands flat and together, held below the chin

To See Thee More Clearly

To See Thee: Make the two sign with both hands (index and middle finger up,) point to your eyes (with both fingers,) and move your forearms so they are perpendicular to the ground

More Clearly: Make a good 'ole jazz hand (all five fingers outstretched,)cross them in front of your face, and bring them out to their respective sides.

Love Thee More Dearly

Love Thee: Make the love symbol, (hands in fists, in an X over the chest,) and bring your forearms down so they are parallel to the floor

More Dearly: Same as "dear" from before

Follow Me More Nearly

Follow Me: Make a thumbs-up sign with both hands, put one in front of the other at chest level, on the right hand side. Move them in delayed circles, so the one hand appears to be "following" the other

More Nearly: Flatten both hands, and have your arms form a sort of upside down V at chest level with the right hand on top. Then move the right hand in diagonal circles in the direction of NE on a compass.

Just repeat those different words, as I believe those are the only lyrics in the whole song. For clarification, I remember coming across a really good sign language video dictionary somewhere in a late-night boredom fuled web-surfing session. Hope you could understand it all! Mr. Green

This must be a popular idea. They did it that way in the production at my old high school.
