God..no contest..OBC wins hands down.
the cast is perfect...dean jones is robert..the heartache and emotion in his "being Alive" is faultless. stritch is and always will be the best Joanne (next to me! not to mention Charles KImbrough,Barbara Barrie and Pamela Meyers. the revival only competes with the original by giving us Bob Westrenberg who is just as good as Kimbrough and the brilliant Jane Krakowski. the revival had a fine cast but the original is perfection. |

COMPANY vs. COMPANYWhich version of Company do you like the best?I think that the OBC of Company has a cast that is absolutely fantastic. Every single one of them delivers the material wonderfully. Dean Jones is great as Bobby but I am glad to have the Larry Kert recording of "Being Alive" on my cd and I constantly move back and forth as to which one I prefer more. I think they are both excellent. I wish that the Sean Mathias-directed Kennedy Center revival had been recorded. I would have loved to have John Barrowman's Bobby on disc. Later days David |

I can't listen to the London revival. no one is good...Sheila Gish..rest her soul..is horrible as Joanne and the 3 girlfreinds sound like they are putting on campified new york accents. |

Elaine Stritch cannot be beat and Pam Myers version of "Another Hundred People" is the best! |
