"Be Our Guest" bridgeI was listening to the OBC tonight and noticed that the bridge in "Be Our Guest" (meaning "Life is so unnerving...") is in a different place than it was in the movie. In the movie, it's before Mrs. Potts' "It's a guest...", whereas in the stage version, it's flipped to where it's after the section that Mrs. Potts sings. Why do you think they flipped the order of the bridge and Mrs. Potts' section?

Who knows. The whole song is completely rearranged, with an extra verse and extended dance breaks (and those dance breaks are expanded even MORE on Broadway). It's practically a whole new song.
I love the arrangements for this number. It's just amazing! Same with all of the bigger group numbers - Gaston, BOG, Mob Song, Human Again, Finale.... they're all just spectacular.

Really, I think this is the only disney movie that can be successfully done on stage. It's incredible what they've done with this.
But on the otherhand, I can't think of any other disney animated movie with as complex of a plot and characters as this one.
