Hi all,

I'm working on what I think may be one of the few "A Little Night Music" fanfictions around (if you know of any others, please steer me towards them)! There's rather limited readership for it, and I thought perhaps some of you here might be interested. I would ADORE some constructive critisism. So far I have one chapter up, with many more in the works. I am planning to do this story in a vignette style, with each chapter being more of an exploration of a certain event or emotional concept, rather than a truly continuous plotline. I am, however, going to try to keep the events in chronological order.

SPOILERS FOR "A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC"

This story focuses on the relationship of my favorite musical theatre characters, Carl-Magnus and Charlotte Malcolm. It begins 10 years pre-musical and goes straight through until several years following. I want to answer a lot of questions that arose for me when watching the musical-- how did these two end up married? Why do they appear not have any children? Did their reconciliation last? Did Carl-Magnus remain faithful? I also bring in quite a few aspects from "Smiles of a Summer Night," the film on which the musical was loosely based.
